Get to know Haarisa

I studied Law at Edinburgh Napier University and subsequently completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde.

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2024, following a traineeship in Personal Injury (Road Traffic Accidents) and Clinical Negligence.

I have previously handled a variety of medical negligence claims and have worked on claims relating to treatment provided by GPs, NHS hospitals, private hospitals and dentists.

I joined the Clinical Negligence department, based in Edinburgh, at Slater and Gordon in 2026 and currently handle a variety of cases including delayed diagnosis of cancer, gynaecological injuries, misdiagnosis, amputation, fatal injuries and birth injuries.

I treat every day as a learning day and am passionate about providing reliable and compassionate advice, so that individuals and family members feel supported through the difficulties of the claims process.
