Our client, Mr J, had woken early to enjoy the sunrise as they approached Barcelona and was taking a walk around the ship. The decking had just been washed and clean and was not yet dry when he slipped. There were no wet floors signs.

As a result of the accident, Mr J was treated at the medical centre onboard the ship where they simply strapped the ankle up. When he returned home and visited his local hospital, he had actually suffered from a fracture to his ankle and was placed in plaster and a boot for 6 weeks.
